Leading global fund manager, Legg Mason engaged Kaizen Recruitment on an exclusive executive search assignment to identify and secure a highly-respected head of marketing for their Australian head office.

The ideal candidate needed to have extensive funds management knowledge and leadership. They would be required to reposition the brand across both institutional and retail channels and support Legg Mason’s unique multi-affiliate business model across Australia and New Zealand markets.

Felicity Nicholson was appointed to the position as Legg Mason’s new Head of Marketing in Australia and New Zealand reporting to managing director, Andy Sowerby.

Nicholson’s previous positions included Head of Marketing at Hastings Asset Management and Head of Marketing – Platforms and Investments at MLC.
